Ja Chi Lou's parents are both opium addicts who sold him to a village store for money. His relatives bought him back and brought him to the orphanage to be cared for. His brother also lives at the orphanage.

Ja Chi Lou feels blessed to be able to live at the orphanage and go to school. Playing tag with friends makes him happy and laugh! Ja Chi Lou asks for prayers for his brother and sister.
