Ja Gui was born in Myanmar and came to orphanage at the age of five. He has three siblings; all are older than him. Ja Gui's father passed away serving as a soldier and his mother remains in Myanmar. He has a sister at the orphanage.

Ja Gui wants to continue his education and wants to study to be a mechanic. He likes to work on motorbikes and wants to go to Chiang Mai when he is older to get a job.
