Nami was born in Myanmar and arrived at the Kae Noi Orphanage when she was just four years old. Her family was part of a large group that escaped Myanmar due to the civil war; she was brought to the orphanage but has not heard from her family since. Nami believes her parents might still be in Myanmar but has no other knowledge about them. It is unlikely that Nami will be reunited with her parents.

Playing with her friends, playing soccer, and singing makes Nami happy. Nami asks for prayers and support for her to be able to do well in school and complete her education. Nami says she loves school!
